A little history

According to my scan numbers, the previous post is the 300th postcard.  My estimate is that there are about 450 more.  I never really expected that I would get this far.  I hope to continue to post about 7-10 a week so this will take at least another year.  I hope that you will come along for the ride.

These postcards were stored in 2 ways.  One is an album specifically designed for postcards.  The other is a small wooden box into which the postcards fit perfectly.  I have been told that it is an antique seed box and is worth $300 or $400.    It is an interesting feeling as I take them out of the album to realize that I am the probably the first one to touch them since Annie put them there as much as 100 years ago.

Lorlee I hope you will continue to post Annie's cards, I really enjoy "catching up" with her and her great cast of characters! Denise Riek (Brisbane, Australia)
