Dearest Anna: got your postal must say was very glad to hear of you again. I couldn’t come to the entertainment in the school house cause I had a sore arm. I had it all burned a hot Lamp chimney fell on it and I caught cold on it and had a bad looking arm – but is better now. Was to the dance at F.H. (Forada Hall) and had a good time it was so crowded at first we could hardly turn around.
