Monday 15-13  Dear Mother.  Recd your letter sometime ago  did not answer sooner as wrote all the news in Annie's letter.  Had been feeling pretty good for a couple of days but today I fell kind of bummy  think I will lay off if I do not feel better tonight for a couple of days.  The weather is kind of warm all the time today it loos like more snow.  got the paper I sent you a copy of the Longmot paper  did you get it?  About the sorm.  Will close and mail this and get my Breakfast and to to bed 10 o'clock.  Loving Son John
