Dear Bro. Wensel Your letter rec’d some time For the present will just drop you this card as news are scarce. I expect you are all pretty busy at the present time harvesting. I am working every day myself. Other side is a view of where I was last Sunday. 612 Larimer St. Will write letter later. As Ever Bro. JohnBalanced Rock Nothing in the enchanted precincts of the Garden of the Gods attracts more attention than the Balanced Rock. Leaning far over it has miraculously through the ages maintained its precarious equilibrium. It is 71 feet high as can be seen by the trees that grow near it and has been “snapped” more times by the intinerant tourist than any other object in Colorado.

Your welcome postal was received to-day? Yes, Anna I think I would have enjoyed helping you in the field. I have been out stacking grain, but soon I'll begin to teach again. School opens the 7th of Spt. You better come and visit with me. Your friend Constance N.
SNOW PLOW
The several railroads which cross the Continental Divide in Colorado employ gigantic rotary snow plows to keep their tracks open for traffic during the winter months. These powerful machines have done away with the need of miles of snow sheds and are powerful enough to clear the tracks of snow, no matter how heavy the fall of snow may be.
