Cousin Ann:  about time to drop you a line today.  I rec'd to dandy postals today, but man know's from who they are.  I am going to Lowry today  aren't you going I am going in the morning.  I heard there is going to be a dance at craigs sat but am not sure.  I can know easily for a minute.  If its gone be down craig's I am going there.  If not I might go to the hall.  am fine.  Emma  drop me a line soon.

Cousin  Well I am right on the spot today.  down Charely Shermak's they have a baby boy Thursday noon.  Tell your ma Mrs. Sarah Russell died 27th of February.  We got a letter all bordered with black and inside a card on it just written a piece of her.  She lived in Seattle Wash  But we dont know who sent it.  We think childrens.  Emma.  Will see you Sunday

Since it seems to be hot all over the country (particularly here in Texas) I thought we could use a nice cooling winter scene.  This one entitled Winter in the Country.

Hollo Ted  Amy way out here  yet was on a picnic and show Sunday in Pocket Lake.  visited down Blackmill, Koudella and some where's else yet and Maruskies to   you see I didn't walk.  don't know when I am coming home tho as Shermak's will thresh and I want to see the doods.  Emma   Have so much to tell  I will stop  don't send a postal here.

Anna our folks went to Landas, Blairs are down Landas.  Clara phoned up to come over.  Harry and Cliff are there.  Would you go there   if you want to go dress up and come over.  If you want to go to Landas come over to our place and well will have lots of fun.  C Emma

Anna  I am going to come there today afternoon.  Lilly and me.  Ma is going to Joe's place.  Pa, Wencil, Joe Bennis is there.  They went there in the morning.  Emma.    

On the front:  This is the way some may be on fourth of July.  I seen one like this on last dance we have.   The figures are identified as "Annie" and "Charley"  

   

This card never made it to the post office -- Stamp is crossed out and postman has written 9/29/09 Lowry.  Probably just delivered it up the road.
