Frances from John -- Dear Mom, I am not going to war.

Dear Mother.  Just a card to let you know that it will be no war for me  I could not pass any way and I am sure that you would not think much about me if I did.  I was waiting for a letter and as it did not come I just thought I'd let you know right away.  Will write letter tomorrow.  PS  Am well  Loving Son John  I was intending to enlist as a musician in the Navy.  
Wildcat Point  One of the most interesting scenic attractions ween by the tourist in a trip through Denver's new Mountain Park System, just completed is Wilcat Point, from which an unsurpassed view of the country to the east can be had. 
On Front:  Where Buffalo Bill will be buried on May 30th.

Dear Mother: I rec'd your letter and was glad to hear from you. I am working 12 hours a day so you see I don't get much time to write just now. But I will write from now on. I am sending a few of the flowers. But the real golden ones are gone and these were about the last he had in the greenhouse. Superior Wis 11/28th Your Big Brother as he was in Duluth some guy he is. Ask him where he took Joe, Josie and I in Duluth. He knows the towns of Duluth and Superior better than I do, especially the Back alleys and side streets and also the big Round signs. Hamm’s Preferred.
